I once was lost, but now am found…
Here’s a funny story for you. Once upon a time, there was a bake sale at the King Center. Being the supportive Teacher’s Assistant that I am, I thought I’d buy a little something. After I bought my dounut, I knew I stuffed my wallet back into my backpack. But when I was at the dorm, the wallet was nowhere to be found. After making a special trip back to the King Center and searching EVERYWHERE (literally, everywhere). I accepted that it was gone- maybe stolen, maybe it fell out, maybe who knows. And then today I was cleaning up my room and I picked up a box of cheese-itz that I had put on the floor after unpacking my backpack. It seemed a little heavy. And LOW AND BE HOLD- my wallet was INSIDE the box of crackers. The box had been in my backpack when I put my wallet back, and it slid right down inside of it! So basically, it was rather annoying, but kind of comical, in a not-funny-at-all way. I’m so thankful I have it back. So that’s that. The moral of the story is: never leave an open box of cheese-itz in your back pack because you never know what will get lost in there. Either that or just hold on to your wallet.
