It’s been a long day…
7am waking up in the morning gotta be fresh gotta go downstairs gotta get my bowl gotta have cereal…
Just kidding.
This day just kept getting more ridiculous as it progressed.
One of my classes was cancelled, so I went to our friendly neighborhood Dollar General and picked up a few essential items for having the best last 2 weeks ever with my floor
Went canoeing. While there was a flash flood warning. And a tornado warning. Fun fun fun fun.
Our canoing professor asked Dan to drive his car to the lake, which was strange in and of itself, but you never know what to expect from TK. He does crazy things. Like make us canoe in a snow storm. It happened. On the way to the lake, we could see that one of the canoes was going to fall off the trailer thingy ahead of us. and it did. So the lovely people who rode with Dan portaged it back to the van.
And canoeing was actually kind of nice today, because it was wicked warm and not snowing.
We had floor dinner and our floor shirts came yesterday, so we wore them tonight. This isn’t everyone, but it’s a solid representation. It was like a little jade army. And I felt sort of like RACS where they made everyone wear those tangerine orange neck warmers while skiing so they could spot everyone. I was spotting my floor all day :)
And then there was a crazy storm. And we frolicked in the rain because we could. And then the power went out. So we sat around popping bubble wrap.
And then we played Sardines for an hour. It was incredible! And sweaty.
And then I went to Dan’s men’s choir concert- he did a lovely job!
And on the way over I saw a rainbow!
And then I caught one of my girls reading out loud to another girl. It was so cute! So I took a picture in a paparazzi like fashion.
