In which 5th floor celebrates (with much exuberance) national Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day :)
Best. Floor. Ever.
Very sorry to the residents of 4th and 6th floors for the stampede of elephants that went through. We gave them quite a scare.

Things from my burffffday
From my floor :) There was also an epic Phineas and Ferb card signed by them :)
Epic roll of bubble wrap from them as well :)
This requires an explanation: I put a square of bubble wrap outside my door and everyone pops one as they go by. It’s quite fun and I always know when someone’s outside my room :)
Got this amazing blanket from Dia :)
Woke up with this on my door :)

Class got cancelled this morning...
So I could either go back to bed, clean my room, or work on homework. Ummmmm…
Side note to professors: as a student, it’s much nicer to receive an early morning email notifying you that class is cancelled rather than getting up and actually going to class just to read the sign on the door. But maybe that’s just me…
And so begins my third decade...
Edit: A few people have said, “shouldn’t it be your second decade?” So here’s my thought process:
0-10 years= first decade
10-20 years= second decade
20-30 years= third decade :)
it's almost time...
Yep. My last night as a teenager. It’s here. And so I think to myself, what can I do to make this night memorable? How can I make this the best night of my teenage life?!?!?!??!!!??!?! The simple answer?
Tattoo.
Yep daddy. Tattoo.
More specifically, a temporary tattoo, but details details! Pish Posh!
Yep people. BLING tattoos.

I love my floor :)
We’re a bunch of 5 year olds. Every Thursday night, we have an “hour of randomness…” so far we’ve colored and made playdoh. Love it.
Megan and I made this cow. And then we watched The Office.

This is a great book.
something I don't like...
…is when professors assign articles to read that are online, and I can’t print them out because I keep forgetting to buy black ink for my printer. Gurgleeee. It seems to take me 5x longer to read things online because my eyes get tired and weird feeling from going back and forth across the screen. Which is why I am now procrastinating and complaining instead of actually reading my...
Good morning...
Not exactly what I was hoping to see this morning…(note the “feels like”…)
But I’m glad it’s not as bad as this…

HEAT WAVE!!!
Today, Vermont is anticipating a huge amount of snow….
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, there’s a heat wave! It’s 40 degrees. I have my window open. And it is lovely, but strange: yesterday was -5 in the morning. I actually don’t usually enjoy when it’s warm in the middle of winter (snow melts, slush, blahh blahh) but today I am loving it.

The earth is the LORD’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for God has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers. -Psalm 24:1-2
Just found this little gem on my computer :) Haha thanks Carly :)
gross.
I currently have a little experiment going in my room called How Long Can Becca Go Without Washing Her Dirty Dishes? So far, it’s been about a week. But I fear this experiment is going to end soon because a) stuff will start growing mold pretty soon… and b) I’m out of clean dishes. Sigh.
Carousel day...
Today is carousel day…the day where hopeful RA applicants are observed and sifted- I’m so glad to be on the other side this year :) I’m the one helping instead of being watched…also- free donuts.

This verse makes me think; Jesus proves His love for the world everyday. If everyone lived by this verse, the world would truly be a better place. It’s one thing to say you love, it’s another thing to prove it.

Last night, I was on duty. My 9 o’clock rounds took my almost 1.5 hours! I don’t know what got into me- I felt the need to stop and chat with pretty much everyone. It was lovely. Anyways, classes have been good- lots of reading this semester. Yikes. But be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. I’m BAAAAAAACK! I’m not sure why this little guy seemed like the right picture to put with that statement, but I’m just in that kind of mood. Anyways, here is a [not so] brief overview of my break in pictures :)
